In my last update, I had just gone through the first sample process, and today, I was thinking I’d have some exciting news for you. Last week, I met with my sample maker and friend to do the second fitting of the Fighter dress and pullover. After some minor adjustments, we determined that I was ready to make a set of samples in all the colors in multiple sizes. Which means I’m just one step away from being ready for production!
But that excitement was short lived, because I discovered that the fabrics I need won’t be available until mid May...which means I have to wait even longer to launch these pieces.
So that brings me to a small solution. I had planned on releasing some shirts to go along with these custom made pieces to create a larger launch collection (some sample previews here). But with the delays on the dress and pullover, I want to release the shirts early. Think of it as a preview for the collection. I'm going to work to get these ready for release by my birthday (May, eep!). Also, any money I make from these will go directly to paying for the production of the other pieces!
